Our Story

Where it all began...

About Us

2006

A group of young professionals from the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce wanted to build a community of young professionals.

They had a white board and an idea...

2007

After months of research, planning, and discussion with other young professionals, we officially kicked off with our first event.

2014

We were ready to fly so we became an independent organization.

Present Day

We are a thriving organization dedicated to providing rising professionals with the skills, connections and leadership experience necessary to build successful careers in the Pikes Peak Region.

Our organization was built on the principles of...

Civic Engagement

We are a non-partisan organization, but we believe that every young professional should be educated on the issues and upcoming elections. We do our best to make sure that everyone is a registered voter and exercises their civic participation.

Professional Development

As a young professional organization, we understand that every professional wants to learn new skills, move up in their careers, and become more knowledgeable about business practices.  We host workshops designed to help you grow as a professional.

Mentorship

CSRP believes in your ability to reach the next level of your career, but sometimes we all need a little help and guidance from someone who has been there before.

We are dedicated to making sure we find the perfect mentor for you to help you reach your full potential.

Networking

The community is all about connections and so are we! CSRP wants you to meet new friends, make new business connections, and most of all have fun.  We have mixers that are specifically designed to meet new people and branch out from those you already know.

The Colorado Springs Rising Professionals gave me the tools I needed as a young professional to gain resources and make a bigger impact in my community, my career, and my civic goals.

Scott Anderson

President of the Scott Anderson Agency

Colorado Springs Rising Professionals helped me start my agency and learn how to network and make some lifelong connections. You can find your next job through your connections or start a business of your own.

Donna Nelson

Spirit of the Springs Program Manager for the City of Colorado Springs

The organization allowed me to have a voice in our community, which was great for both me and the Rising Professionals. One of my favorite things about the Colorado Springs Rising Professionals is that you are allowed to progress as much or as little as you want.

The People We Depend On

Don't Take Our Word For It

Hear from young professionals just like you.
